Thomas Willemeit is a founding partner of GRAFT Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH. He studied architecture at the Technical University of Braunschweig and participated in the Bauhaus Dessau master class for architecture and urban planning. He has taught as a visiting professor at RWTH Aachen University, the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf and the Delft University of Technology. GRAFT employs around 100 people and has offices in Berlin, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. The firm is renowned, among other things, for its concept of the exhibition in the German Pavilion at the 2018 Biennale.
