Ariane Wiegner is a founding partner of Kirchberger & Wiegner Rohde, an architecture, interior design and urban planning practice. She studied architecture at TU Berlin and the Frank L. Wright School of Architecture in the USA. She is doctorate candidate at the University of Kassel and gained extensive academic experience as a visiting researcher, guest lecturer and visiting professor in Germany, the USA and Japan. Since 2024, she has been a guest professor of architectural design and sustainable building at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. Prior to becoming self-employed, she worked for Steven Holl Architects, Barkow Leibinger Architekten and David Chipperfield Architects, among others.
