Prof. Volkmar Bleicher holds a degree in engineering and began his professional career in 1992 at Transsolar Energietechnik GmbH in Stuttgart, where he has been a partner since 2000. Since 2013, he has also been Managing Director of Transplan Technik-Bauplanung GmbH. With a focus on energy-efficient construction and user comfort, he has managed numerous national and international construction projects. He has been a professor at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT) since 2005 and regularly gives lectures on integral planning. He also advises the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) on user comfort issues.
