Jonas Janke is an architect and partner at b+ (bplus.xyz). After training as an architectural draughtsman, he studied architecture in Hamburg, Stockholm and Berlin. He has worked as a tutor and assistant in various departments, including design and typology, building construction and structural design. He was part of the 2038 team at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale (2021). He has taught at the University of Innsbruck and the Politecnico di Milano and regularly gives lectures and critiques. His work focuses on new ecological materials and methods for adaptive reuse and renovation projects, seeking solutions that make thoughtful use of materials and construction.
