Dr. Nadir Abdessemed is an associate partner and climate engineer at Transsolar, where he has been working in Stuttgart and New York since 2009, supporting international architecture teams in developing novel climate and energy concepts. Nadir leads projects of all scales, from schools and museums to mixed-use developments and climate strategies for cities and regions. He works with start-ups and is a member of the DGNB. Nadir initially studied mechanical engineering, did his PhD in aerospace engineering, and is active in teaching worldwide, e.g., at the GSD in Harvard.
