In addition to his role on the Schmidt Hammer Lassen leadership team, Rasmus has spent the last decade leading the Concept Development department. Rasmus has a rich, diverse portfolio that includes the strategic conceptual development of complex cultural projects such as Vendsyssel Theatre, a multifunctional complex, and Dokk1, Scandinavia's largest public library. Rasmus has worked with pro-jects in a variety of cultural and geographical settings and has a profound belief in the need for a project to engage with its context. Heavily involved in architectural competitions of all types, Rasmus has a deep understanding of the processes that lead to the successful development of a project. He prioritizes the balance of architecture with function, aesthetics, economy, sustainability and technology when approaching any project.
