Jette Cathrin Hopp

Jette Cathrin Hopp is a graduate architect and has been working with Snøhetta since 2005. She is part of the management group as project director and head of acquisitions and new projects. Jette has extensive experience in complex both Norwegian and international projects and led major international project developments and competitions. She has lectured in several architectural symposia, sharing Snøhetta's philosophy and design ideas and she is also used in jury work in several architecture competitions. Examples of her experience are her role as team leader for the museum in the King Abdul Aziz Center for Knowledge and Culture, Saudi Arabia and as project leader for a large hotel and resort development of Hvar, Croatia. She has led major international developments with focus on sustainability as Astana Expo 2017 "Future Energy" and Powerhouse Kjørbo in Sandvika, Norway which is the world first rehabilitated energy-positive building.
